Remember What and Why

Gentlemen, ground yourselves in your core values, and your purpose, everyday. What do you want to be about today?

Your WHAT and your WHY.

But do this DAILY? “Who actually does that everyday??” You ask.

Is that what you’re striving for, to be like everyone else?

And if not daily, how about weekly? Monthly?

Develop a practice, a discipline, of REGULARLY reviewing and re-grounding yourself in your core values and purpose, whatever frequency you choose. Just do it, and be consistent

These 2 things. It’ll take a grand total of 2 minutes.

You HAVE 2 minutes. You’ve already wasted multiple “2 minutes” today–take one of those chunks and remind yourself what you’re about.

Write them out so you don’t have to start from scratch every time.

Your top 3-5 (no more) core values.

Your main purpose–why you’re getting up in the morning.

And if you’re unclear on these things? Then you may be drifting or on autopilot, going nowhere in particular, and for no reason in particular. Not a good combination.

No “what,” no “why.”

Figure them out. And if you need a convo partner, message me. I would enjoy discussing this with you.
